Regarding quality, IRC is one of the leaders within the European netting and rope manufacturing sector. In 1998 it became the first Spanish company in its sector to guarantee quality troughout the manufacturing process of fishing, safety, protection and sports nets by the implementation of a certified Quality Control System ISO 9002:94 – today ISO 9001:2002 – issued by the following certification bodies AENOR, BVQI, and AIDICO.

This quality stamp motivated the creation of a self-owned R+D+I laboratory, which is managed by the Quality and Innovation Department.

The Quality Department supervises on a daily basis the development of IRC‘s Quality Map and introduces continous improvements.

Moreover, it represents the company in the different European Standardisation Committees to which it belongs.

Clear Advantages

The investment in technology is another key factor in IRC‘s evolution. The company has managed to combine traditional rope and netting manufacturing methods from the local area (Callosa de Segura) with today’s most advanced technological equipment within the sector.

IRC has one of Spain’s most complete machinery parks, consisting of looms, braiders and twisting machines. This includes the new-generation Heat Setting Autoclave, which ensures the guarantee of IRC‘s rope and netting quality.
